The client got in contact with Projects4Renewables following a recommendation by a neighbour we had previously solar panels for. The client was looking for information on an Air source heat pump system following a solar installation by another company. Projects4Renewables attended site to discuss the benefits and what work would be required to achieve this. Following a heat loss calculation to specify the size of the heat pump required and what radiators would need changing, Projects4Renewables designed, installed and commissioned a full ASHP system including a new unvented hot water tank in the loft. This replaced his previous old combi boiler. Martin now benefits from generating his own electricity using Solar panels and batteries, and using it to heat his house, all making a significant saving on overall running costs
