Boiler Upgrade Scheme

The Boiler upgrade scheme is a government grant of currently £7,500.00 towards the installation of renewable heating measures. The grant can be used to fund the installation of Air source heat pumps, Ground soure heat pumps, Biomass Boilers*. The grant is available for eligibile homeoweners and self-builders. Its a great scheme to incentivise homeowners to install renewable heating systems as oppose to conventional fossil fuel or inefficient electrical heating systems. The grant is applied for by the installer, and is paid to the installer which typically covers the final £7,500 towards the installed system.
