Projects4Renewables got in contact with the client following an enquiry for an Air source heat pump to replace their Oil boiler for heating and hot water and a battery system for benefitting from cheaper off peak electricity available from their supplier. Following a site visit, Projects4Renewables designed and Solar and Battery system and Air source heat pump with all associated works. Projects4Renewables undertook the installation of solar panels and battery storage in December 2023, followed by the installation of the Air source heat pump in January 2024. Once complete, the customer is able to charge their 15kwh battery off cheap electricity at around 7p per kwh, then let it discharge to feed their daily consumption including the Air source heat pump. The combined systems having reduced their outgoing utility bills significantly and on track for a fantastic Return on Investment.
