The client had recently moved over from America into a new property that had an Air source heat pump and underfloor heating.
They were both keen on a solar panel and battery solution following recent short duration power cuts.
Understanding this requirement, Projects4Renewables advised that as standard a solar and battery system does not operate during a power cut, however we can specify and optional “back-up box” which during a power cut would provide power to selected “critical” circuits giving power and lighting where preferred.
This was the perfect solution and Projects4Renewables installed 32 solar panels and 10kwh of battery storage with the back-up box included.

The roof was a “standing seam” roof which with our extensive knowledge of solutions, we were able to source a specialist mounting system to fit to this type of roof.
