Choosing the Right Radiator for Your Home
Radiators are the most common form of wet central heating in the UK. Water is heated via a Gas/Oil boiler, heat pump or other means. The heated water is pumped around the radiators, which then emits the heat into the room by natural convection or sometimes with a fan assisted radiator. There are 100’s of standard and designer radiators on the market to choose from, however its essential to make sure they are correctly sized to meet the heat loss of the room that requires heating. This is even more important when you have a low temperature heating system such as an air or ground source heat pump. It is also possible to get a variety of levels of control.
